Loyle Carner's 'hugo' has made the Shortlist for the 2023 Mercury Prize. A blistering introspective album reflecting on identity and more, 'hugo' is Loyle Carner's second appearance on the Shortlist for the Mercury Prize, following his debut 'Yesterday's Gone' making the Shortlist in 2017.
