Rosa Walton today releases new single “Heart To Heartbreak”, the third track taken from her debut solo album,Tell Me It’s A Dream, out on 5 June 2026 via Transgressive Records (presave HERE).

A mesmerising and upbeat offering, “Heart To Heartbreak” explores the dizzying highs and fragile lows of modern romance, capturing the struggle of finding creative inspiration when being weighed down by emotional exhaustion. Drawing inspiration from the emotional depth of The Cure and Prefab Sprout, the track is built on gorgeous, interwoven layers of guitar and synth. These intricate elements are brought to three-dimensional life by Walton’s band, elevating the track with a powerful new sense of sonic cohesion.

“This is a song about feeling like everything in your life has shattered but realising that relationship was holding you back and the world is opening up”, Walton says. “I wanted this song to feel really visual, like things are starting to sparkle and look colourful again.”

“Heart To Heartbreak” follows recent single “Halfway Round The World” and breakout solo single, “Sorry Anyway”, a bright, hook-driven anthem centred on radical self-acceptance and fearless individuality, which was premiered by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 6 Music. The Guardian also included it in their F&M playlist, calling it “a power-pop ode to messy love with the punchiest side of Tegan and Sara in its veins”, while Clash praised it as “a bright-hued, hook-driven anthem centred on radical self-acceptance and fearless individuality.”

Alongside a run of instore dates in June, Rosa Walton will play her debut full band show at The Great Escape’s Transgressive Takeover at Chalk on 15 May. Additionally, Rosa will perform a UK tour in September, calling at The Lower Third in London on 17th and Voodoo Daddy’s in Norwich on 18th. Full live dates are below.
