Rosa Walton today releases the new single, “Halfway Round The World”, the second track taken from her debut solo album, Tell Me It’s A Dream, out on 5 June 2026 via Transgressive Records (presave HERE).

The wide-eyed, heartfelt “Halfway Round The World”, depicts the arc of a burgeoning relationship “as being like a light weaving just above the ground”. “A lot is to do with light. I view these songs as being on a high-up plain,” Walton continues. “My reality a lot of the time is of walking around with my head in the clouds so that, to me, is normal.”

“Halfway Round The World” follows her breakout solo single, “Sorry Anyway”, a bright, hook-driven anthem centred on radical self-acceptance and fearless individuality, which was premiered by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 6 Music. The Guardian also included it in their F&M playlist, calling it “a power-pop ode to messy love with the punchiest side of Tegan and Sara in its veins”, while Clash praised it as “a bright-hued, hook-driven anthem centred on radical self-acceptance and fearless individuality.”

Alongside a run of instore dates in June, Rosa Walton will announce a UK tour for September, calling at The Lower Third in London on 17th and Voodoo Daddy’s in Norwich on 18th. Tickets go on sale on Monday 13 April at 10am. Full live dates are below and will be “officially” announced tomorrow at 10am.
